Tab Navigation in Power BI
How to change tabs in a dashboard:
- Landing Page: When you arrive at the website, you'll be on the landing page. Look for the navigation menu or a set of tabs located at the top of the page.
- Tabs: Among these options, there should be a set of tabs listed, each representing a different page. Identify the specific tab that corresponds to the page you want to access.
- Click on the Tab: Using your mouse cursor or touchpad, click directly on the tab associated with the page you want to visit. Once clicked, the tab will change color or have some form of visual indication to show that it's been selected.
- Highlighted Tab: As you click on the tab, it should become highlighted or look different from the other tabs, indicating that it's the active selection.
- Navigation Arrow or Link: After selecting the desired tab, look for an arrow icon or a link, usually positioned on the top right-hand side. This arrow might appear as a 'Next' button, 'Go,' or 'Continue,' indicating the action to move forward to the chosen page. This is highlighted in the green box in the above example.
- Click the Arrow or Link: Use your cursor to click on this arrow or link. It should trigger the transition or navigation to the page you've selected by clicking the corresponding tab.
- Confirmation of Navigation: Once you click the arrow or link, the webpage should load, and you'll be directed to the page associated with the tab you selected.
